Vox Liminis is a creative community, developing the role of the arts in reducing crime and promoting justice in Scotland. 

Working primarily through music, we work in prisons with prisoners and professional singer-songwriters to write songs together. We also work with families affected by crime.

• In conjunction with Families Outside we run In Tune music-making projects for young families with a parent in prison.
• With young people and young adults who have experienced family imprisonment during their teens, we are developing KIN – a creative arts project giving voice to young people’s experience. Vox Unbound is a weekly creative space in Glasgow city centre where we share a meal and make things together, leaving our roles, labels and pasts at the door.
• In conjunction with Distant Voices, we are exploring the role of the arts in affecting public attitudes to supporting reintegration of prisoners after a custodial sentence, opening up a public conversation on crime and punishment through songs.
