CR&DALL associate, Philip Habel, within the School of Social and Political Science, and colleagues within the University of Glasgow's Urban Big Data Centre and School of Computing Science have been doing social media analysis of the recent UK general election.

Similar types of data from social media are being collected by our colleagues in the UBDC, but with a focus on learning and education, and these will be complemented with survey, administrative, GPS and life-logging data later in the year. So watch this space!
