Join the ASEF Capacity Building Workshop on Equitable Access and Success in Higher Education which takes place online, from 15 November to 17 December 2021. This is one of the spin-off activities based on the recommendations of the recently concluded 8th Regional Conference on Higher Education in Asia and Europe (ARC8).

We are delighted to announce the release of the Routledge volume on 'Global Citizenship for Adult Education: Advancing Critical Literacies for Equity and Social Justice', edited by Petra A. Robinson, Kamala V. Williams, and Maja Stovanovic. The volume comprises a collection of a groundbreaking projects in the field of youth and adult education, in which 43 scholars from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States, examine how to promote equity and social justice through global citizenship and lifelong learning, that integrates the development of critical literacies as integral to adult education.

NCRM is delighted to bring you the 2021 Research Methods e-Festival in collaboration with methods@manchester. Held on 25-29 October 2021, the event will be a celebration of research methods with an interdisciplinary social science flavour.

Promoting early interest in STEM and role identification for girls, is of urgent interest for many global initiatives (e.g. Organization for Women in Science in the Developing World, 2021). Increasing proportions of girls and women studying and working in STEM would contribute not only to scientific development but to more equitable and sustainable societies, including gendered economic outcomes.
